Dr Mohan Dewan will next be conducting a seminar for students of Indian Law Society’s (ILS) Law College on the current hot topic of ‘Patenting & Drugs’ on 6th February 2015.
Seminar on “Understanding the Basics of IPR” at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, India, January 2015
Dr Niti Dewan conducted a 4-hour seminar at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore on Saturday 24th January 2015 for the benefit of a nearly 100-strong audience comprising faculty, graduate & postgraduate students. The aim of the seminar was to spread awareness about fundamental concepts in IP to ensure that educational institutes such as IIT Indore have the necessary know-how in order to successfully protect their intellectual assets and also think along the lines of monetizing their IP rights. 
Session on “Legal Approach in Drugs Patenting Regime” at Deccan Education Society’s Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune, India, January 2015
The Students of Deccan Education Society’s Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune (India) were addressed in a 2-hour session by DIIPR faculty, Dr Mohan Dewan, on the topic “Legal Approach in Drugs Patenting Regime” on 10th January 2015, during the college organized ‘National Seminar on Medico-Legal Aspects of Protection of Life in Patenting Regime & National Judgment Analysis Competition.’ Once again, it was a highly interactive, knowledgeable & successful session.
Course on ‘Patenting Filing & Processing, Patent Writing’ at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Nagpur, India, January 2015
DIIPR faculty, Dr Mohan Dewan, conducted an intensive 2-day course on ‘Patenting Filing & Processing, Patent Writing’ at the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) in Nagpur (India) on 7 & 8 January 2015.  RGNIIPM is a Central Government Organization under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. All of Dr Dewan’s sessions were very well received by the participants comprising corporates, advocates and representatives from research & development organizations & universities. The questions did not stop coming from the keen attendees right from morning even through the usually drowsy post-lunch time (!) and onto and beyond the close of session time.
